Sustainability and Security: The new improved Roseberry Court

At Terry Dicken Business Park, we believe that sustainability and security go hand in hand when creating a thriving business environment. Over the past year, we’ve made significant improvements to Roseberry Court that reflect this philosophy. Incorporating eco-friendly measures and advanced security systems that enhance the experience for our tenants and visitors. Here’s a breakdown of the upgrades we’ve made, all aimed at ensuring a greener, safer, and more efficient workspace.

Harnessing Solar Power: The installation of solar panels

One of the most impactful changes we’ve introduced is the installation of solar panels on the rooftops at Roseberry Court. These panels are a significant step in our commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of the business park. By utilising clean, renewable energy, the panels help power the site while decreasing reliance on non-renewable resources.  Clever storage facilities mean tenants can access the stored power on evenings and even on those not so sunny days! As energy consumption continues to rise across commercial properties, this sustainable source will contribute to a greener future and helps us to keep our rents competitive.

Sustainable Lighting Solutions: Small business centre’s automatic lighting

To further improve energy efficiency, we’ve also introduced sustainable automatic lighting in all of the communal areas inside building two. This modern lighting system is designed to minimise energy wastage by automatically adjusting to the level of natural light and motion in the building. Lights will only activate when needed and will turn off when spaces are unoccupied, ensuring minimal electricity usage. This eco-friendly approach adds to the overall convenience for those using the small business centre building.

Supporting Electric Vehicles: Introduction of two EV chargers at Unit Two

As electric vehicles (EVs) become increasingly popular, we want to ensure that our business park is equipped to support this transition. That’s why we’ve installed two electric vehicle chargers at Unit Two. These chargers make it easy for EV owners to power their cars while at work, promoting cleaner transportation options. Providing EV infrastructure is crucial to encouraging more eco-conscious travel, and we’re proud to support this shift toward greener transport. Upgraded Parking: For a better experience

We’ve also taken the time to upgrade the parking bay markings at Roseberry Court. Clear, well-defined markings not only improve the overall look but also enhance the functionality of the parking area. Making it easier for tenants and visitors to navigate. We politely request that, where possible, the EV parking bays are left vacant in order for the chargers to be available. Additionally, once your vehicle has been charged, please move to a standard parking bay to allow other tenants access.

Enhanced Security Measures: New cameras and remote gate access

Of course, sustainability must go hand in hand with security. To ensure a safe environment for our tenants, we’ve implemented a series of enhanced security measures, including the installation of new security cameras across the park. These state-of-the-art cameras provide comprehensive coverage, ensuring the premises are monitored 24/7, giving business owners peace of mind. In addition to upgraded surveillance, we’ve also introduced remote gate access across the park. Allowing for greater control over who enters and exits the premises out of standard office hours.
