Power up your journey with Stokesley’s new EV chargers
We’re excited to announce the installation of two brand-new electric vehicle (EV) chargers at Terry Dicken Business Park in Stokesley!
Eco-friendly solutions
These chargers are now available for use by both our tenants and visitors, offering convenient, eco-friendly charging solutions right on-site. As electric vehicles become increasingly popular, we’re proud to support a greener future while making it easier for our community to power up and stay on the move. Whether you’re here for business or just visiting, the new chargers are here for you.
Operating hours
You can access the EV chargers during the opening hours of the businesses on Roseberry Court. These are Monday to Friday until 9pm and on Saturdays until 7pm. Please note, they’ll be closed on Sundays and bank holidays.
EV charger locations
Stokesley’s new EV chargers are located at Unit 2, Roseberry Court on Ellerbeck Way. Opposite the Clevedale Vets building on Ellerbeck Way, the sign on the Unit 2 building reads ’Terry Dicken Business Centre.’
As you drive into Roseberry Court, you’ll notice additional signage on both sides of Unit 2 stating ‘2 TS9 5QT.’ Turn into the car park in front of the building and you’ll see the wall mounted car chargers marked ‘2’ and ‘2a’.The two parking bays in front of the chargers are designated for vehicles using the EV chargers.
Charging instructions
You’ll need your own type 2 connector and the Monta app to use the EV chargers. Here are the instructions in full.
Parking
- Look for the wall-mounted chargers marked ‘2’ and ‘2a’.
- Park in one of the two bays in front of the chargers.
- Ensure the car is properly aligned with the charger.
App Setup
- Download the Monta app from the App Store or Google Play.
- First-time users:
- Register with a valid email address and verify the account via email.
- Add your car to complete registration.
Charging
- Charger 2a delivers 22 kw charge.
- Charger 2 delivers 22 kw charge.
- The chargers are not tethered, so bring your own Type 2 connector.
Plug in
- Insert your Type 2 connector into the vehicles charging port.
- Confirm the connection on your car’s dashboard or on the charging screen.
- Monitor your phone for notifications when the car has reached the desired charge.
After Charging
-
- Unplug the type 2 connector and return it to your vehicle.
- Once charging is complete, move the car to free up the charging station for others.
- Please vacate the chargers by 9pm Mon – Fri and 7pm on Saturdays
- If staying onsite, please move to a regular parking space.
