Terry Dicken Business Park Feature Friday

Alice Rowe Heart Holistics

How often do you relax? I mean RELAX with no phones or technology? I certainly don’t do it enough.
With my job being technology-based I reckon I spend 40 hours a week looking at my laptop and phone. It’s terrible. I struggle to switch off… so I am glad I met with Alice Rowe.

I met with Alice in her very beautiful treatment room based in Roseberry Court on the Terry Dicken Business Park. I walked in and instantly felt at ease, I knew this was going to be something good.

Alice herself is a lovely, genuine woman who decided it was time to take a new career path doing something she loves which is helping others to be calm and feel good. Life is busy, families are busy, work can be stressful but slowing down is important for your health and wellbeing. Alice offers various massages, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue Massages and Luxury Facials to help keep the mind at peace.

Reflexology is a type of massage that involves applying different amounts of pressure to the feet based on the theory that areas of the feet are connected to certain organs and body systems within the body. Deep tissue massage is used to help people with muscular aches and pains and can help alleviate stress as with the Swedish body massage too. Aromatherapy massage is a lighter massage which includes the use  of essential oils specially mixed to suit the needs of each individual client. As I am qualified in aromatherapy I am able to add essential oils to all the treatments I deliver if my clients choose this.

The benefits

“There are so many benefits to reflexology, massages and aromatherapy some of these include: reduced anxiety, a boost in your mood, making you feel at ease and relaxed, increased blood circulation and promoted sleep”.

A safe place

“I want people to be able to come into my treatment room and feel calm and safe and allow themselves to escape from their everyday stresses and whatever is troubling them. My clients seem to leave a lot happier and more relaxed in themselves which I find so rewarding. I feel at peace with myself knowing I have helped people in some way which can include lifting their mood and/or reducing any aches and pains. I strongly believe that holistic treatments should be made compulsory and on prescription”.

A range of treatments

“I offer Swedish massages, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, deep tissue massages and luxury facial treatments to treat the body and mind. Plus, I am currently training for a whole range of new treatments to be offered very shortly”.

A business park?

“At first I was unsure about setting up a holistic treatment in a business park as I didn’t think it would work for my business. But when I came for a visit I got a really good feeling about the place and i could envisage myself here. It had everything and more that i needed such as free secure parking, situated on the ground floor, easy to find and access for lots of people”.

Finding purpose

”Setting up my own business doing something I love has given me the purpose I feel I needed. I am truly happy in myself and love coming to work as it doesn’t feel like ‘work’ I enjoy it so much and have met so many lovely people I feel privileged to be a part of the business park”.

Weekends

“I can offer appointments on a weekend or after work commitments to suit those with busier schedules, which is another benefit of being here on the Terry Dicken Business Park as I can be flexible and have full control of when I open and close”.

Tried and tested by myself. I went for the summer recharge package which was insane. It helped me feel so much better about myself and I felt like a new woman, I highly recommend. If you fancy a treat there’s some great packages available. You can find Alice Rowe at:
