Terry Dicken Business Park Feature Friday

Agriplus Limited

Being honest, I don’t know a lot about tractors which is quite bad considering both my parents come from farming backgrounds. My first encounter with a tractor other than following them every day on the A172 was a toy one my dad bought me at Stokesley Show when I was young.

I heard on the grapevine because it is well before my existence that – “If it ain’t red, leave it in the shed” but I’m sure I got a green John Deere? Is that like a crime in the agricultural world? Should my dad have known better?

Anyway, that’s enough about me, you can hear from the experts in this field (pardon the pun):

Agriplus Limited was started in 2005 by Rob Stevenson and his uncle, Richard Winter. Since then, Agriplus has grown from a small agricultural engineering business into a major agricultural dealership. They sell new and used agricultural machinery and are growing with 7 current employees. Now in their 14th year in business, Agriplus have never looked back from Rob’s previous days of being ‘ a man in a van’.

McCormick Tractors

“Since acquiring the McCormick tractor franchise in 2008, we have continued to grow our list of new sales franchises to complement the McCormick tractor range and these now include; Vicon, Weidemann, Teagle, Maschio, Bomford, Strautmann and more recently the Harry West franchise”.

Proud to support local Agricultural businesses

“Agriplus is proud to support local agricultural businesses providing them with parts to fix machinery to help sustain the importance of agriculture in the UK”.

Fixing and Mending

“Our team fix and mend tractors both on-site here in Stokesley and they also travel to areas such as Newcastle, Doncaster and even Manchester. We’re flexible to fit around those that can’t fit into a typical 9-5 schedule”.

Wealth of Knowledge

“With Rob’s years of experience, customers and dealers call Rob to ask for advice. We like people to feel like they’re talking to a person and not just a machine when it comes to help and support”.

Working till 3 am can be the norm

“In the summer months it can be manic, we’re often here till 3 am and work 7 days a week just to keep up with the demand”.

A niche Area

“We moved to the Terry Dicken Business Park because we saw a niche, no one else was doing this in the area, it was also a great space for our needs”.

For all your new farm machinery sales, parts, or even a trip to the Aladdin’s cave, Agriplus Ltd has a great range of products from some of the leading manufacturers in the world.

In case anyone is wondering the “If it ain’t red leave it in the shed” is a famous tagline used by McCormick tractors to differentiate them from their competition!
